This temporary position is responsible to work with the Innovia Foundation staff, local governments, and nonprofit entities for planning, implementing and tracking activities associated with the Spokane County 2020 Census Counts Committee. Duties include providing general coordination of Committee activities, partnership with local and regional governmental and nonprofit entities, community engagement, reporting of Committee efforts for local, state and U.S. Census campaign officials, and communication with local/regional organizations regarding census 2020 get-out-the-count efforts. This position can work independently or out of the Innovia Foundation office but will need to travel to all areas of Spokane County and meet routinely with local jurisdictions and diverse stakeholders. The Communications Fellow will work closely with Innovia Foundation staff on strategic communications for the Philanthropy/Marketing and Research teams.
