Kevin Gunder likes to build. He founded Gunder Construction in 1989 after spending 18 years as a Spokane Realtor specializing in land development and new construction. In 2014, along with subcontractors and other supporters, he established an endowment fund at INWCF to support the Post Falls Food Bank. The food bank provides free food to citizens and referrals to other helping agencies. "My family benefitted from a food bank when I was a kid," said Gunder. He knows what it is like to work with partners to build dreams from the bottom up. As a traditional general contractor, he leads a dedicated team of professionals, including Vice President Sean Smith, to build custom homes. Shawn has applied his degree in architectural design to residential and commercial projects in the Pacific Northwest for more than 12 years. In Shawn's words, "I really enjoyed designing, but I love building." In that spirit, the Gunder Construction Fund for Post Falls Food Bank is building a brighter outlook for those affected by poverty in the Post Falls community.
