Inland Northwest Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a permanent asset to transform communities and improve lives throughout the region we serve. This permanence is accomplished through the management of endowed funds; however, “pass-through” funds may also be established. There is no administrative fee for pass-through funds maintaining a $1,000 balance. Fund administration and grantmaking expenses are shared equitably across more than 200 endowed funds to keep these costs to a minimum. Administrative fees are deducted from each endowed fund at the percentages listed below no later than September 30 of each fiscal year. Fees for endowed funds in existence for less than a full fiscal year are calculated on a pro rata basis. There is no additional set-up fee for opening a fund at the Foundation. Fund founders are invited to make an annual charitable contribution to support the Foundation’s work. Please ask to see our Investment Performance and Returns.
Please ask about options for 1) non-endowed or “pass-through” funds; 2) restricting your fund to a specific area of interest; or 3) reduced fees with $1M funds. *Some scholarship funds may require special administration for an additional fee. Please ask to see criteria. |
