A local leader in government and community development, Shelly joined Inland Northwest Community Foundation as CEO in 2017. As a former Spokane County Commissioner, Shelly earned a reputation as a team builder and agent of change, representing Spokane County interests on 20 regional and statewide boards and commissions.   

Prior to serving in government, Shelly was the Director of Education and Workforce Development for Greater Spokane Incorporated. Her experience in the nonprofit sector includes work for the George Nethercutt Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. She was previously employed at Inland Northwest Community Foundation as a senior program officer from 2007 to 2008.

Shelly graduated from Whitworth University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. She completed her MBA at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in California.

Kathy provides administrative support for the President and CEO and the Director of Gift Planning. She provides staff support for all board and committee meetings and manages data tracking of gift acknowledgments and donor-advised grant recommendations, as well as maintaining donor information and correspondence. Kathy’s prior experience includes 12 years in the planning and production of special events in the Spokane region and 11 years as a city clerk.

PJ joined Inland Northwest Community Foundation in October 2005 and currently develops programs, products and services assisting donors and professional advisors in achieving their philanthropic goals and designing legacies that will be long remembered. PJ has over 10 years experience as a development officer and over 20 years of leadership in nonprofit organizations, such as Group Health and Morning Star Boys’ Ranch. She holds a Master of Health Science/Health Education from Whitworth University. Her volunteer leadership includes chairing local Boards for the American Red Cross, American Heart Association and Chase Youth Commission. PJ also served as an examiner for the National Institute of Standards and Technology Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Collette joined Inland Northwest Community Foundation in July 2014. Working closely with the Director of Gift Planning, she assists donors with charitable funds; as well as collaborates with nonprofit agencies to design products and services to promote organizational sustainability—increasing their capacity to better serve our community. Additionally, she is responsible for coordinating the annual appeal in support of the Foundation’s Partnership Fund. Collette comes to INWCF with over 10 years of nonprofit experience, starting her career with a work-study position at Habitat for Humanity-Spokane. During her seven-year tenure at The Nature Conservancy, she gained valuable experience in operations, fundraising, board management, and volunteer engagement. Collette holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Gonzaga University.

Molly joined Inland Northwest Community Foundation as grants program officer in 2008. Today, as the Foundation’s Director of Community Engagement, she is responsible for developing and managing the Foundation’s grant making, community engagement and marketing activities. With a degree in Journalism from Eastern Washington University, Molly has held a variety of positions in print and broadcast journalism, public relations and nonprofit development and communications.

Cacy joined the Foundation in September 2017. She assists the Controller in the administration of accounting and finance functions. Her background includes work in nonprofit auditing and corporate accounting. Cacy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Lauren joined the Foundation in May of 2014. She manages the Foundation's internal operations and stregthens systems for future growth. Lauren also oversees the marketing, IT and HR functions. She holds a Bachelors degree in Public Relations with a minor in Visual Communication Design and a Masters in Public Administration. Lauren’s prior experience includes working in fund development at a nationally based, girl-centered nonprofit organization. She was previously the Program Officer at INWCF from 2013-2017. Lauren’s involvement with INWCF began with a one-month internship in 2010 while she was in college that evolved into a part-time marketing position here at the Foundation for 2 years while she earned her master’s degree. 

Lou Wilmot

Lou serves as the administrative assistant and front desk receptionist. She provides administrative support to all staff. Her prior experience includes 15 years with the Spokane Symphony as the annual fund manager/database administrator and during the period of time as an active duty Navy wife she had jobs at AT&T in the Stock and Bond Unit and Abbott Laboratories as the department secretary.
