Following is a list of the funds that comprise the Palouse Region/Pullman Community Grant Program. (Please note: Organizations seeking funding must apply to the overall Palouse Region/Pullman Community Grant Program, not to any of the specific funds within the program.)
Discretionary Funds
Bertramson Family Fund/Est. 1993 Rod and Eleanor Bertramson of Pullman established this fund with no preferences or restrictions, other than first consideration to qualified requests from the Palouse region (including the Palouse Region in northern Idaho).
DeVleming Family Fund/Est. 1992 Dr. Robert and Mrs. Genevieve DeVleming (Bob and Gen) of Pullman created this Family Fund to provide general charitable support with preference given to Pullman and the Palouse Region and first consideration to programs that meet the needs of troubled families and abused persons, especially abused women and children.
Martin Family Fund/Est. 1993 Charles and Alice Martin of Pullman established this fund with no preferences or restrictions, other than first consideration to qualified requests from the Palouse region (including that part in northern Idaho).
Pullman Foundation Fund/Est. 1982 A community fund established to accept contributions from any source and provide support to organizations in the Pullman community with no other preferences or restrictions.
Fred & Dora Founds Family Fund/Est. 1996 Dora Rounds of Pullman created this discretionary fund (with the assistance of her daughter Marge Muir) to support programs in the Pullman and the Palouse Region.
Sage Fund/Est. 2004 Nancy M. Collins-Warner and Christopher K. Warner established this Family Fund with no preferences or restrictions, other than geographic restriction to the Pullman/Palouse Region.
Betty M. Watson Family Fund/Est. 1996 This fund was established by Betty Watson of Pullman (with the assistance of her daughter Gen DeVleming) to support general charitable purposes in the Pullman area, with preference given to programs that meet the needs of abandoned and homeless animals, especially dogs.
Area of Interest Funds
Robert & Anna Neill Fund/Est. 1982 This fund was established to further, better, enlarge or increase any education, recreational or health service or facility serving the youth of the Pullman community.
Robert & Anna Neill Recreation Fund/Est. 1982 The purpose of this fund is any capital structure, improvement or purpose in the furtherance of the recreational activity of the City of Pullman for the youth of the community.
Fund for Seniors of Greater Pullman & Whitman County/Est. 2002 Mary Schweitzer established this fund to support projects and programs that benefit seniors as a vital and respected part of the greater Pullman community and Whitman County, Washington.
