Opportunity Grant Program

Guidelines and Application

The Opportunity Grants Program provides small grants to eligible organizations throughout the communities served by the Inland Northwest Community Foundation. Grants through this program may range from $250 to $2,000.

For information about eligibility, funding limitations and other important details, please review our Eligibility and Funding Criteria. Last year this program provided $6,000 in funding. View a list of recently awarded grants.

Please note that this program has very specific guidelines. Proposals not meeting all the following guidelines will not be reviewed. Projects eligible for funding from the Opportunity Grants Program are those that:	Take advantage of a compelling opportunity; or Address an unexpected condition which impairs the organization’s ability to function or causes individuals/groups served by the organization to be at unusual risk.
Project timing:	Proposed projects must be time-sensitive to the extent that the grant cycles of INWCF’s other grant programs do not accommodate the immediate need of the organization.
Not considered for funding:	Proposals stemming from a lack of foresight or poor management of resources on the part of an organization.
